Future Skills and New Tools – The potential of gamification to achieve the SDGs
On June 24, 2024, the event Future Skills and New Tools – The Potential of Gamification to Achieve the SDG took place at DOCK am Donaukanal, in Vienna. This event, hosted by the Children’s University of Vienna, was dedicated to future skills and new tools in education and emphasized the importance of gamification to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The social simulation Up to You! was one of the main attractions.
After a round table on the topic of Future skills and gamification as a tool for engaging young people, where the potential and challenges of gamification in education were discussed, participants had the opportunity to get to know innovative educational tools at a Tools Fair and in a Gaming Corner. In a more relaxed atmosphere, participants were able to try out the social simulation Up to You! and multimedia learning resources, among other things.
The event thus provided an ideal platform for getting to know and testing new approaches and methods. The participants continued to exchange ideas over a sundowner and brought this event full of experiences to a pleasant close.
